Break-ins, theft incidents probed

State police at Lehighton reported on burglaries and theft incidents probed by troopers.

Troopers said they are probing several burglaries that occurred a the following locations: 103 Evergreen Court, 320 Blue Ridge Road, and 272 Shady Oaks Drive-East, all in Saylorsburg, Ross Township, Monroe County.The listed victims are Richard Harold Krasley, 59, Carl Joseph Cuvo, 60, and Arlene Mary Tyler, 70.Troopers did not indicate what, if anything, was taken, but did report a white male and white female as suspects. The incidents were reported at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 2. Both suspects are reported to be in their early/mid 20s.Garrett Mark Scott, 19, of 422 Ore St., Bowmanstown, reported his Hyundai Accent GL was entered while parked outside his residence. Removed was a GPS unit. Also, the criminals removed roof racks on the car. Total estimated loss was $900. The incident was reported on Sept. 25.Robert Charles Murphy, 57 White Oak Drive, Penn Forest Township, Carbon County, reported he was having a yard sale on Saturday, Sept. 29, when about $800 in cash and a calculator was stolen from the sale. The incident occurred about 4:30 p.m., troopers said.Margaret Grace Rodrigues, 609 Hamilton St., Bowmanstown, reported several Halloween decorations were removed from the front yard of her property sometime between 5 and 8 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 30.Anyone with information concerning any of these incidents is asked to call troopers at (610) 377-4270.
