Nesquehoning man charged with stealing 100 doctor scripts

Charges were filed by Rush Township Police against Joseph M. Porvaznik III, 28, Nesquehoning, after he attempted to get 120 Oxycodone and 90 Alprazolan pills from the pharmacy at Wal-Mart, Rush Township on Sept. 28 at 11:13 a.m. Rush Township Police stated that the defendant stole 100 blank scripts from a doctor's office in Pottsville and forged the doctor's name on the blank scripts.

The defendant was unsuccessful in getting the pills. He is facing forgery, receiving stolen property charges and criminal attempt acquisition by misrepresentation.
