State police at Schuylkill Haven reported investigating a burglary and an act of criminal mischief at two Schuylkill County locations.

The break-in occurred at a pole building style garage and older smaller storage building located at 204 Orchard Drive, in Barry Township. Forced entry was made to the locked pole building and three batteries and a cement mixer motor were taken. The storage building entered had 10-feet of copper pipe taken. The listed victims of the break-in are Daniel Joseph Brennan, 61, of Hamburg; John Joseph Radigan, 75, of Long Island, N.Y.; and Michael John Lenick, 63, of Hegins. The incident occurred sometime overnight of Sept. 21-22.The criminal mischief incident was reported by Frances M. Emerich, of Lakefront Drive, in Deer Lake. Emerich reported an aluminum mailbox and post was removed from the property. The incident was reported at 11:45 p.m. on Sept. 27.
