State police at Frackville are investigating the theft of scrap metal from a Schuylkill County site.

Troopers said the metal was taken from a construction site off Moss Glen Road, in Schuylkill Township. Taken was eight iron excavator body panels and two iron screens. The items are the property of M&J Excavation, of Bloomsburg.The theft occurred sometime between Sept. 21 and 25, troopers said. Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at (570) 874-5300.
