Pocono Mountain Regional police reported on two domestic incidents in which arrests were made.

On Sept. 19 about 10:37 p.m. police responded to 29 Holly Forest Road, in Mount Pocono, for a reported physical domestic incident.On scene officers spoke with Katie Brown, 20. She was observed to have several injuries to her face.She told officers that Tywain Preston, 19, of Mount Pocono, had attacked her. Brown was taken to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, for treatment.Preston was located at the residence and taken into custody. He was charged with domestic assault and placed in the county prison in Snydersville after failing to post $2,500 bail.At 6:43 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 23, officers responded to 145 Bushkill Drive, in the Arrowhead Lakes development, in Pocono Lake, for a domestic incident.On scene officers spoke with Joshua Mercado, 25, of that address. He said his fiancee, Jessica Carlson, 22, had thrown a spoon at him striking him in the face. Police observed Mercado was bleeding from the cheek.Carlson was present and admitted to throwing the spoon.She was taken into custody and charged with simple assault domestic related and taken to the county prison pending arraignment.
