Brianne Moyer, daughter of Danny and Rae Anne Moyer of Tamaqua, has been awarded a scholarship to the Schuylkill Health School of Nursing, where she will study to become a registered nurse. The 2010 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School was named to the Dean's List at Lehigh Carbon Community College during her two years of study there. While attending LCCC, she was also inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society.

The nursing scholarship was presented to the incoming class student with the highest grade point average. She also plans to pursue a bachelor's degree.
