Sarah Amber Terry, daughter of Mark and Peggy Terry of Orrtanna, Pa., recently graduated cum laude from Misericordia University, Dallas, Pa. with a master of science in occupational therapy, bachelor of science in health science, minor in psychology and specialization in pediatrics.

While in school she was secretary for the Student Occupational Therapy Club, secretary of the Occupational Therapy International Club, and soup kitchen coordinator for the Campus Ministry Team. She completed mission trips to Savannah, Ga.; Port Au Prince, Haiti; and Comayaga, Honduras. She was inducted into Psi Chi, the Psychology National Honor Society, and received a Service Leadership Award.She was also the recipient of the following scholarship awards: Presidential Scholarship, Mission Award Scholarship, McAuley Leadership Scholarship and SciTech Scholarship.She plans to work as an occupational therapist within an outpatient setting, treating pediatric and adult-based diagnoses, as well as hand injuries. She will continue to develop and implement a hippotherapy program.Sarah is the granddaughter of Michael and Helen Terry of Lansford and the late John and Martha Knittle of Summit Hill.
