The American Cancer Society will host a Look Good, Feel Better makeover workshop from 4-6 p.m., Sept. 10, at the Schuylkill Medical Center East, 700 E. Norwegian St., Pottsville, and from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sept. 17 at St. Luke's University Hospital Miner's Campus, 360 W. Ruddle St., Coaldale.

The sessions are free and open to all female cancer patients actively undergoing cancer treatment.During the sessions, trained cosmetologists will meet with patients to discuss ways of using makeup and accessories to minimize appearance-related side effects of chemotherapy and radiation treatment.Look Good, Feel Better is offered in a group setting, providing participants with cancer education, information and support.Seating is limited.
