A Palmerton man was arrested after he trespassed at a residence at 5712 Fifth Ave., Pocono Summit.

According to Pocono Mountain Regional Police, on Sept. 3, at 4:45 p.m., police were dispatched to a reported break in at the above location. Dispatchers advised that a witness had seen an actor, later identified as Mark B. Edgar, 44, of Palmerton, leaving the residence and flee in a black Volkswagen Passat with a Pennsylvania registration.While en route to the scene, police observed a vehicle matching the description provided and conducted a traffic stop several miles from the scene.The eyewitness was called to the scene and positively identified Edgar as the person he had seen exiting his deceased mother-in-law's residence moments earlier.Edgar was charged with criminal trespass graded as a felony and taken to the county correctional facility pending arraignment before Magisterial District Judge Germano.
