Man faces charge of criminal trespass

An Ashland man faces a charge of criminal trespass for trying to enter a Gilberton home at 11:20 a.m. Sept. 1

Michael McGinley, 30, who last lived on Chestnut Street, was charged by state police at Frackville.According to police, McGinley tried to enter the home of Susan and Michael McGinley at 2506 Water St. He was told he was not wanted there, and he then pulled a screen off of a window and kicked open a door to enter the house.Once inside, the accused threw a water bottle at Mr. McGinley. The accused was arrested, video arraigned by District Judge David Plachko of Port Carbon and jailed under $25,000 bail.
