Schuylkill break-in, mischief probed

State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a break-in of a motor home and damages done to trailers at a Schuylkill County site.

Troopers said the incident occurred at 1144 SR61, in North Manheim Township, sometime between July 28-30.Unknown criminals arrived on scene and proceeded to damage the exteriors of a 2004 Gulfstream Conquest 33-foot travel trailer, a 2004 Cherokee Lite 29-foot traveler trailer, and a 1996 Damon Intruder motor home.The criminals gained entry to the motor home by breaking a window and removed the stereo from the home damaging the dash board in the process.The listed victim of the incident is Auto Liquidators.Troopers also reported investigating an attempted theft from a vehicle that occurred in the 100 block of Main St, in the village of Seltzer, Norwegian Township.Troopers said two white males in their teens were seen walking at the above location with one of the males opening an unlocked vehicle. He was immediately confronted by the owner, with both males fleeing on foot.The incident occurred about 4 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 7.Anyone with information concerning either incident is asked to call troopers at (570) 593-2000.
