The American Cancer Society will host a Look Good, Feel Better makeover workshop from 4-6 p.m., Aug. 13, at the Simon Cramer Institute, 15 Alliance St., New Philadelphia.

The session is free and open to all female cancer patients actively undergoing cancer treatment.During the session, trained cosmetologists will meet with patients to discuss ways of using makeup and accessories to minimize appearance-related side effects of chemotherapy and radiation treatment.Look Good, Feel Better is offered in a group setting, providing participants with cancer education, information and support.Seating is limited.
