The Panther Valley Golden Agers began their July 23 meeting with a moment of silence for the victims of the shootings in Colorado. Sue Dopira led the group singing. Members of the chorus attended the meeting to discuss the possibility of visiting nursing homes in the future.Members who would like to attend the outdoor picnic must have their dues paid up to date. More details on the date and location of the picnic will soon be available.The next meeting will be held on Aug. 13. Anyone 55 and older is welcome to attend.On Sept. 24, a representative from Dream Come True will be the guest speaker.CoaldaleStreet pavingStreet paving will be taking place in the borough of Coaldale starting Monday, Aug. 6.
