Safe KidsResidents of Nesquehoning who would like to apply for a Nesquehoning Safe Kids card to be put in their window should contact either Valerie Higgins at (570) 668-2386 or Carol Zickler at (570) 669-6127.The program is sponsored by the Nesquehoning Woman's Club and each applicant will have a background check by the Nesquehoning Police Department before being accepted.The cards placed in home windows are for the purpose of allowing school children to come to your door if there should be an emergency on the way to or from school.
