Zachary Nicholls, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nicholls of New Ringgold, completed his studies at Universal Technical Institute (UTI), Exton, in the auto/diesel and industrial program. While attending UTI, Nicholls earned a 3.96 grade point average, was nominated for Alpha Beta Kappa National Honor Society, attained the Director's List 16 times, was named Student of the Course 11 times and obtained full credentials from the Ford FACT program.

The grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Fegley Sr. of New Ringgold, he has been awarded a prestigious scholarship through BMW of North America and will study in Orlando, Fla. This elite BMW course is only offered to approximately 125 of the nation's top performing graduates annually.Nicholls is a 2010 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School and the Schuylkill County Vo-Tech Automotive Technology Program.
