Firefighters from two counties battled a stubborn dwelling fire late Tuesday night in Lynn Township. The fire was first reported just after 10 p.m. as a porch fire at a home on Slateville Road about 100 yards east of Dresher Road. When firefighters arrived on scene they reported a fully involved dwelling fire. Flames and heavy smoke were flowing from the second floor of the two-story brick home. Fire companies from Lehigh and Berks counties responded to the scene, some as far away as Kutztown. No injuries were reported in the incident.
