Six area residents among 27 to enter guilty pleas in Schuylkill court

Six area residents were among 27 defendants who pleaded guilty to criminal charges in Schuylkill County court and were sentenced by Judge Jacqueline Russell.

Norman S. Paisley, 50, of 422 W. Rowe St., Tamaqua, involved in accident by striking the side of the house at 415 Nescope St., Tamaqua, was placed on probation for 12 months and on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia must serve an additional six months probation.He was also ordered to pay $100 to Substance Abuse Education (SAE) fund, and perform 20 hours community service. Paisley was cited by Patrolman Robert Minnick.Stephen Frederick Stripe, 48, Mountain Road, New Ringgold, involved in accident at the intersection of state routes 895 and 443 in East Brunswick Township, sentenced to serve 14 days to 12 months in the county prison beginning Friday, July 6, at 6 p.m., pay $50 to CJEA fund, perform 20 hours of community service, and make restitution of $500 to William Weand. Stripe was cited by Trooper Mark R. Demko.Robert P. Bobeck, 74, of 325 W. Blaine St., McAdoo, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, placed on probation 23 months, pay $50 to CJEA, have no contact with John Nocek, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation, and perform 40 hours of community service. On a harassment charge fined $100. Bobeck was cited by McAdoo Patrolman Anthony Divirgilio.Corey Edward Wall, 20, 321 E. Mahanoy St., Mahanoy City, theft of a theatre sound system from the residence at 334 W. Spruce St., Mahanoy City, placed on probation 23 months, pay $50 to CJEA fund, perform 20 hours community service, and make restittution of $1,250 to John Wronski. Wall was cited by Patrolman Charles Kowalski.James Andrew Polusky, 21, of 219 W. Mahanoy St., Mahanoy City, two counts of possession of a controlled substance (CS), placed on probation 12 months, pay $100 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA, perform 20 hours of community service, and make restitution of $113 to Bethlehem Regional Lab.Karen Rosemare Boris, 48, of 307 Mulberry St., Tuscarora, Schuylkill Township, defiant trespass on property of Rite Aid Pharmacy, Tamaqua, sentenced to serve three to 12 months imprisonment, followed by house arrest with electronic monitoring and pay a daily fee of $12 plus $50 hookup, also pay $50 to CJEA fund, and make restitution of $104.72 to the pharmacy. She received credit for spending two days in the county prison. On a charge of disorderly conduct was fined $150. Boris was cited by Tamaqua Patrolman Matthew Bynon. A charge of retail theft was nol prossed.Jonathan Dale Reed, 35. Pottsville, driving under the influence (DUI), placed in the Intermediate Punishment Program (IPP) for six months, fined $300, pay $100 to SAE fund, $100 to Catastrophe fund, attend safety school, receive outpatient treatment, and perform 20 hours community service. Reed was cited by West Penn Township Patrolman Jason L. Lorah, on Mountain Drive Road in Andreas.Bryan Keith Engle, 36, Schuylkill Haven, DUI, placed in IPP for six months, fined $1,000, pay $100 to SAE fund, $50 to Catastrophe fund, $60 to Schuylkill Medical Center, attend safety school, receive outpatient counseling, submit to random screen tests, perform 20 hours community service, and driver's license is suspended 12 months. On driving an unregistered vehicle was fined $75 and failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic fined $25 plus $100 costs. Engle was cited by Trooper Timothy J. Rymarkiewicz when stopped on Adamsdale Road in North Manheim Township,Cierra Lynn Elizabeth Gradwell, 21, Schuylkill Haven, disorderly conduct, fined $50. She was cited by Schuylkill Haven Patrolman Vincent J. McDonald. Charges of defiant trespass and harassment were nol prossed.Lisa Marie Gilbert, 40, Schuylkill Haven, public drunkenness, fined $50. She was cited by Schuylkill Haven Patrolman George S. Meisner. A charge of resisting arrest was nol prossed.Devin J. Bingaman, Branchdale, Branch Township, pleaded guilty to a number of motor vehicle code violations and was assessed fines and costs. Failing to have a registration for a snowmobile or all terrain vehicle, fined $25; operating on streets or highway, fined $25; failing to carry liability insurance on his vehicle, fined $300; overtaking another vehicle on the left side, fined $25; and failing to drive at a safe speed, fined $25 plus $150 costs. On a charge of driving without lights to avoid arrest was fined $200 plus $25 costs. Bingamin was cited by Minersville Patrolman Jason A. Klouser.William Edward Miller, 45, Schuylkill Haven, DUI, placed in IPP for six months, fined $1,000, pay $300 to SAE fund, $50 to Catastrophe fund, $60 to Schuylkil Medical Center, attend safety school, receive outpatient counseling, undergo random screen tests, and perform 20 hours community service. Miller was cited by Orwigsburg Patrolman Scott R. Davis.Jessey Lee Long, 23, Saint Clair, possession of drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana was placed on probation for 12 months, pay $100 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA fund, and perform 20 hours of community service. Long was cited by Trooper Mark Ruscavage in Middleport.Craig Allen Rittenbaugh, 39, Pine Grove, six counts of recklessly endangering another person, sentenced to serve six to 23 months in the county prison beginning Sunday, July 1, at 9 a.m. and received credit for serving 24 days, pay $50 to CJEA fund, and perform 20 hours community service. He also must undergo drug and alcohol and anger management evaluations. On a charge of criminal mischief was fined $50. On a charge of rear lights not working was fined $25 plus $50 costs.Rebecca Correll, 41, Minersville, retail theft of jewelry from Sears Store, Schuylkill Mall, placed on probation 23 months, pay $50 to CJEA fund, perform 20 hours of community service, and enroll in Retail Theft Division Program. Letcavage.David John Rambo, 25, Pottsville, theft of a gold Carbon County Deputy Coroner Badge belonging to Ed Smith, placed on probation six months, pay $50 to CJEA fund, and perform 20 hours community service. The sentence begins at the expiration of a sentence he is now serving. He pleaded guilty in September 2011 to impersonating a Carbon County Deputy Coroner by flashing a gold colored badge in a Pottsville restaurant.Debra Ann Sacco, 57, Scranton, retail theft from Sears Store, Schuylkill Mall, sentenced to serve two to 23 months in the county prison, pay $50 to CJEA fund, perform 20 hours of community service, make restitution of $341.96 to Sears, and shall have no contact with the store. Barrett.Michelle Lynn Revinski, 20, Locust Dale, failure to furnish a drug sample to probation officer, placed on probation 12 months, pay $50 to CJEA fund, and perform 20 hours of community service. McCormick, 22, Pottsville, delivery of a controlled substance in Minersville, placed on probation 36 months, pay $100 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA fund, perform 20 hours of community service, and make restitution of $113 to Bethlehem Regional Lab.Charles David Strouse Sr., 61, Pottsville, DUI, serve 72 hours to six months in the county prison, fined $1,000, pay $100 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA fund, perform 20 hours community service, attend safety school, receive outpatient counseling, and license suspended 12 months. Strouse was cited by Trooper Mario A. Pompei when stopped in New Philadelphia.Roberto Rolan, 35, Reading, theft, sentenced to serve one to 23 months in the county prison with credit for serving two days in prison, pay $50 to CJEA fund, and perform 20 hours of community service. Lizewski.Rodney Rodgers, 56, Pottsvile, possession of a small amount of marijuana, placed on probation 30 days, pay $100 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA fund, and perform 20 hours of community service.
