The Tamaqua Historical Society will sponsor its 22nd Annual Summerfest celebration on Father's Day, June 17. Special guest speaker will be Dr. Ron Hamlen, vice chair of the Lyme Disease Association of Southeastern PA.In addition to discussing the primary concerns surrounding Lyme disease, Dr. Hamlen will explain the ongoing research to control and eradicate the disease.
