The Jim Thorpe Olympian Football Booster Club will meet this evening, Monday, June 4, at 6 p.m. in the Jim Thorpe Area High School Commons.The agenda will include reviewing fundraisers to date, program sales and a speed camp update.The biggest fundraiser over the summer is selling ads for the football program. This year is extra special since the team will be playing its home games in the Jim Thorpe Stadium for the first time in two years. Those interested in serving should submit a letter of interest to the borough office by June 8. The position is only open to borough residents.Letters of interest from residents to serve on the Jim Thorpe Planning Commission and Jim Thorpe Zoning Hearing Board, as well as EMA director, should be sent to the borough office by June 8 as well.
