Volunteers neededVolunteers are being sought to help with a new summer food service program that will be held in June in Summit Hill.The program will provide free lunch to all school-aged children in the Panther Valley School District.The lunches will be served from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday, beginning June 6 and continuing through Aug. 24, at the Summit Hill Heritage Center, 1 W. Hazard St.The volunteers are being sought to help serve the lunches.Those volunteering do not have to attend all five weekdays.Even one-day-per-week volunteers will be appreciated.For more information about the program, or to volunteer, call Rita Trucios, (570) 645-1480, or email her at
