Jennifer Stefano, state director for Americans for Prosperity and a regular guest on Fox News, will be a guest speaker during a meeting of the Lehighton 9/12 Project.

The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. at Penn's Peak in Jim Thorpe, with Stefano speaking at 7 p.m.Stefano will be discussing the regulation of coal companies, as well as other matters.The speaker is also a regular guest on Fox Business News.Her unexpected political career began in April 2009, when she attempted to spend a day at the park with her husband and their newborn baby. Instead of a quiet family picnic, she stumbled onto one of the first-ever Tea Party rallies.Stefano founded the Conservative Leadership Coalition, which would later merge with and become The Loyal Opposition, one of the largest local grassroots/Tea Party organizations in Pennsylvania.In 2010, she recruited and trained nearly 100 political novices in her county to run for committee seats.
