Golden Agers

The April 30 meeting of the Panther Valley Golden Agers was opened with a prayer and the singing of God Bless America. A moment of silence was observed for recently deceased, Dory Chromiak, Anna Pastula, and Barbara Rich.Rita O'Donnell read an appropriate poem "April Spring Showers" and Irene Hudasky led the group singing.Deceased members of the past year will be remembered at a special Memorial Mass to be held May 14 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 462 Ludlow St., Summit Hill. Celebrants will be the Rev. James Burdess and the Rev. Kenneth Medve.Chorus should meet at10:30 a.m. for rehearsal before Mass.Meeting will follow the services in the church social hall. Annual dues are now being collected for the year 2012.
