If you like the songs of the Beatles, then a show at Penn's Peak Friday night is what you're sure to enjoy.

Are you a Led Zeppelin fan? Then get to the venue on Saturday night to see a tribute band which always attracts large crowds.Remember "Eye of the Tiger" from the movie Rocky III? The group that had the hit with it, Survivor, is at the elaborate Jim Thorpe concert hall on Sunday night.Three concerts in three nights will occur at Penn's Peak this weekend.They are:• Friday - Beatlemania Now, 8 p.m. Tickets $22 at the door.• Saturday - Get the Led Out, 8 p.m. Tickets $23 to $33.• Sunday - Survivor with the Pat Travers Band, 8 p.m. Tickets $24 in advance and $29 day of show.Beatlemania NowFrom "A Hard Day's Night" to "Yellow Submarine," Beatlemania Now performs them just like the versions by the original Beatles. Not only does Beatlemania sound like the Fab Four, but the quartet looks a lot like John, Paul, George, and Ringo and dresses accordingly.Beatlemania Now has made several appearances at Penn's Peak and it's obvious why the band keeps coming back. The audiences love them and they always deliver a full helping of what the fans want.Get the Led OutThey're called "The American Led Zeppelin."Get the Led Out consists of seven professional rock musicians who have dedicated their time to recreating the true experience of the English Led Zeppelin.Get the Led Out has been at Penn's Peak numerous times, and nearly every appearance was a sell-out. They reputedly leave audiences feeling like they've just witnessed an actual Led Zeppelin show.SurvivorAlthough Survivor began recording in 1978, it was the song "Eye of the Tiger" in 1982 which catapulted them to stardom."Eye of the Tiger" earned Survivor a Grammy and an Academy Award nomination for the theme song of "Rocky III."Survivor has had numerous hit songs since then, including "The Search is Over," "High on You," and "Is This Love," just to name a few.Fans of Survivor will be happy to welcome the return of lead singer Jimi Jamison, who had left the band during the 90s but rejoined last year. Other band members are Frankie Sullivan, Marc Droubay, Billy Ozzello, and Walter Tolentino.Coincidentally, the Pat Travers Band also formed in 1978.The quartet delivers classy melodic 80s rock and even some blues in the 90s, but it was their hits of the 70s that gained them widespread recognition.Those songs include "Boom Boom (Out Go The Lights)."Penn's Peak NotesOther Penn's Peak news:• Three new concerts have been announced for the venue. They are Herman's Hermits starring Peter Noone on Oct. 5, Tanya Tucker on Oct. 14, and Travis Tritt - Christmas Show on Nov. 30. Tickets for these performances go on sale Saturday, May 12.• Due to a scheduling conflict, the management of Kansas has cancelled the performance at Penn's Peak on Friday, June 1. Tickets can be refunded at the point of purchase.• Tickets recently went on sale for four recently announced events. They are Raymond the Amish Comic (July 14), Yonder Mountain String Band (July 15), Uriah Heep (July 19), and 7 Walkers (July 27).• May concerts at Penn's Peak, after this weekend, are Dennis DeYoung: The Music of Styx (May 12) and Dark Star Orchestra: Continuing the Grateful Dead Experience (May 31).
