A 17-year-old Tamaqua female was cited on Saturday after an incident at the North and Middle Ward Playground on Washington Street.

Officers were dispatched to the playground at 7:25 p.m. where they found the teen to be in a visibly intoxicated condition.She was cited for underage drinking and released to the custody of her parents.
