First Congregational ChurchMorning Worship will take place at 9 a.m. Sunday, April 29, at First Congregational Church, 123 East Ruddle St., followed by Sunday School at 10 a m.The Women's Class will gather for its annual Mother's Day event at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, in the church hall. Please note the earlier-than-usual meeting time.The church's nursing home ministry team will visit St. Luke's Miner's Geriatric Department, Coaldale, at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 2, followed by a visit to MapleShade, Nesquehoning, at 1:30 p.m.Choir rehearsal will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 2.On Sunday, May 6, Morning Worship will be at 9 a.m. and Sunday School at 10 a.m.Vacation Bible SchoolRegistrations are currently being accepted for First Congregational Church's Vacation Bible School scheduled for 6-8 p.m. July 9-13.
