Brownie incident results in charges

An investigation into an allegation made by two students at Ss. Peter and Paul school in Lehighton in which it was alleged brownies made at the school contained marijuana, has concluded with the two students being cited.

The incident was first reported on Oct. 21, 2011, to borough police. Police said the two students, a female age 13 and a male age 14, both of Lehighton, claimed the brownies they made at the school contained marijuana.Police said after lengthy and costly testing, laboratory results have now confirmed there was no marijuana present in the brownies.The two students have been charged with disorderly conduct, police said.
