A Tamaqua woman faces charges after an officer observed her driving a green Kia on April 9 despite the fact her driver's license is suspended.

Officer Matt Houser was on patrol at 4:30 p.m. in the area of West Union and Lincoln streets when he saw Kimberly Keach, 35, of 256 Brown St., driving on West Union Street. The officer prepared to make a vehicle stop and observed Keach park the car and enter a fenced yard at 304 Lincoln St.She was apprehended and will be charged with driving with a suspended license and criminal trespass.
