Two persons sustained minor injuries in a crash April 17 at 2:10 p.m. on Route 209 in Chestnuthill Township, according to state police at the Fern Ridge barracks.

Police said Brooke A. Peterson, 19, of Effort, and Sally E. Collister, 50, of Saylorsburg, the driver's of the vehicles, suffered the injuries.Police said the accident happened when Peterson pulled her 2005 Dodge Neon out of the parking lot of the Burger King restaurant in front of a 1995 Dodge Neon that had peen operated by Collister and the two vehicles met in the roadway.Police said Peterson will be cited for causing the accident.
