Local horror story author Mark Thornton will be at the Dimmick Library Friends House on Saturday, April 21 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. He will talk about and sign copies of his new book Twisted Tales of an Otherwise Ordinary Mind. The book is a collection of short horror stories that have been compared to both Stephen King and Dean Koontz.

Thornton's other books are The Boathouse of Bartholomew Biggs and With Only Seconds to Scare.Thornton resides in the Pocono Mountains. He is currently working on volume two of the trilogy of Twisted Tales (to be released in July), as well as his first young adult novel.
