Joelle A. Chinni and C.C. Simmons, both of Coaldale, have announced their engagement.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Hazleton High School.Her fiance is a graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School, Denver, Colo. He is employed by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.The couple plan to wed on Aug. 25, 2012.
