Lehigh Valley Horse Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 15. The topic for this evening's demonstration will be the "Importance of Forage in Equine Diet" with the guest speaker David Fink. The meeting will be held at Heidel Hollow Farm, Germansville. The meeting and speaker is free and open to the public. The Lehigh Valley Horse Council formed in 1980 as an aid to horse owners of the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas. LVHC is a nonprofit organization devoted to promoting equine activities, and educating the horse owners and the general public.LVHC sponsors clinics and lectures that feature experts on every aspect of horsemanship on a bimonthly basis.LVHC also publishes a bimonthly newsletter for its membership and a yearly horseman's directory which is distributed free at various area locations.
