Firefighters and state police were called yesterday around 4:30 p.m. to Shady Lane in Walker Township, as well as the outskirts of MaryD for a woman lost in the woods. She was communicating with family via a cell phone. Tusarora firefighters eventually found her around the water tower in MaryD. Also assisting in the search were firefighters from Walker Township, Tamaqua, West Penn and MaryD. No more information was available as of press time.
