A "hanging" took place on the Fourth Floor of the Schuylkill County Courthouse after business hours on Friday afternoon.

The Schuylkill County Bar Association held a time honored ceremony in Lawyers' Room Atriu, to hang the pictures of three former president's of the county bar. The portraits of attorneys James C. Bohorad, Frederick J. Fanelli and William L. J. Burke which were placed on the east wall, joining portraits of 38 past presidents.Members and friends of the honored attorneys were in attendance and the current bar president, Sudhir R. Patel, gave the opening remarks and welcomed the guests.Family members joined the three recent past presidents in unveiling their portraits. The three past presidents spoke briefly followed by a reception.Attorney John Whalen, the first past president, served from 1913 to 1931, followed by attorney M. M. Burke, who served from 1931 to l943.All others served two year terms, including attorney A. D. Knittle (1943-44); M. D. Duffy (1944-45); P. H. Burke (1945-47); Roy P. Hicks (1947-48); James J. Gallagher (1948-49); J. W. P. Burke (1950-51); Calvin J. Friedberg (1953-53); Cletus Kilker (1954-55); Fred J. Wiest, Jr. (1956-57); Thomas Noonan (1958-59); John P. McCord (1960-61); Frank J. Toole (1962-63); Arthur E Ricchiuti (1964-65); Raymond M. Monahan (1966-67); and Richard B. Russell (1968-69).Also, John H. Thomas (1970-71); John B. Linderman, III (1972-73); Leonard G.
