Thousands view Raider band in Disney World

Thousands of spectators watched as more than 100 members of the Tamaqua Raider Band played "Celebration" and "Tribute to America" as they marched passed the Cinderella Castle in Disney World as part of Disney World's week long of parade's last week. The band traveled all the way to Orlando, Fla., to march in the parade, which was called the Dream Come True Parade. While in Disney, band members and chaperones had the opportunity to visit various theme parks. Each band member saved up for the trip, which is traditionally held every four to five years. Mark Beltz, band director, stated his appreciation to all the band members, boosters, parents and chaperones for their hard work. Tamaqua Drum Majors lead the Raider Marching Band color guard past the Cinderella Castle in Disney World last Thursday. Beltz added, "Everyone had a great time."
