Seeking to relieve the congested traffic conditions as tey now exist on Ridge Street, Lansford's principal business thoroughfare, borough fathers of that community voted five to four in favor of the adoption of an ordinance for the installation of parking meters. The meters will be paid from the receipts deposited in them. It was noted that 300 meters would be leased. Twelve-minute parking will cost one cent, while it will be five cents an hour.
