Talk about top-of-the-line service, which is what patrons have come to expect at the New Tripoli Bank.Located at 6748 Madison Street in New Tripoli, the bank has been designated as Business of the Month by the Greater Northern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce.The bank, which also has a second location at 7747 Claussville Road in Orefield, is a "full-service bank", according to David Hunsicker, president, CEO, and chairman.Hunsicker said the bank finished the year with $323 million in assets; of that, $241 million is deposits. The bank also has another $211 million in loans, he said."We have been doing really well with picking up a lot of new customers," Hunsicker said. "Our motto, quite frankly, is we offer all the services that the big banks offer, but we can do it better because we have personal relationships with all our people."Hunsicker said the bank doesn't show any signs of slowing down anytime soon."I think the future looks bright for community banking," he said. "We're very fortunate to be here in the Lehigh Valley; not just New Tripoli."Customers range in age, Hunsicker said."It's pretty varied," he said. "All of my directors are local people, and most of my people go back to the founding families."Hunsicker said he's proud of the designation bestowed upon the bank by the GNLCC."We're very pleased to be recognized," he said. "The Chamber does a lot of good things, so this puts us in very good company."Hunsicker said he's proud of the professional relationship his business has with the Chamber."Most of their members are small businesses," he said. "We take pride in assisting business customers."New Tripoli Bank is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, and 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday.
