The Slatington Woman's Club announced that the November Girl of the Month is Allison Beltz of Slatington.

The Northern Lehigh Area High School senior is president of the Student Council and was a representative for all four years of high school. She is a member of the National Honor Society, SADD, and Peer Helpers."I go to as many school functions and sporting events as I can attend," says Allison. "During the spring, I play on the school's varsity softball team."She has made the Principal's List in each marking period throughout high school, completed the Penn State Lehigh Valley Emerging Leaders program in her junior year, and while she played JV softball she received the coaches' award.Throughout school and summertime, she likes to have campouts, watch sports with her dad, go to family parties and vacations, and hang out with her friends. She loves being creative, watching "NCIS," and listening to music.She plans to attend college and major in physical therapy to achieve a doctoral degree. She plans on either working at a pediatric or out-patient facility.She is the daughter of Wesley and Maria Beltz and has a sister, Laura and two Siamese cats, Meeka and Beckham."My family and I have a lot of memories together that I will cherish forever. We go on a vacation to a different place each summer. My cats are my little buddies who follow me around the house and they make our house a little more noisy than usual," says Allison.
