State police at the Fern Ridge barracks were summoned on Jan. 1 at noon to investigate an incident they are calling "theft of services."

Police said the incident happened at the Country Gas and Convenience Store, Route 715, Jackson Township.Police said a 53-year-old man from New Jersey told them someone dumped three bags of garbage into his dumpster.
