State police at Lehighton are investigating a crash Sunday afternoon in Polk Township. Emergency personnel were dispatched at 2 p.m. for a car reported to be on a lawn at 365 Greenhill Road. State police reported they found a young woman who had exited her vehicle and was in a dazed state. The woman was operating a van south on Greenhill Road when, for some unknown reason, swerved to the right, driving across the lawn of the home. Her van then turned to the right, traveling along the drive way and just missing several vehicles, before coming to rest to the rear of the residence. She was transported from the scene by police.
