Two persons were injured Monday afternoon when involved in a crash along SR209 between Jim Thorpe and Lehighton. The crash occurred just after 5 p.m. as the female driver was traveling north from Jim Thorpe climbing the Mansion House Hill. She apparently lost control leaving the right berm striking the face of the rock wall before re-entering the roadway crossing over the southbound lane impacting with a stone wall. Mahoning Township police are investigating the incident.
