Northwestern and Lehighton posted volleyball victories on Wednesday.

VOLLEYBALLNorthwestern-Pius XNorthwestern defeated Pius X, 25-19, 25-19, 25-11 in a non-league game.Trista Cunningham had a big game for the Tigers with nine kills, two blocks, and five aces. Jenny Von Holt added seven kills and four aces; Mackenzie Hart chipped in 12 assists and two aces; and Sara Hufnagle had 11 assists and two aces.Pius X defeated Northwestern 13-25, 25-17, 15-8 in the JV match.Lehighton-HazletonLehighton rolled to a 25-17, 25-8, 25-20 non-league victory over Hazleton.Jackie Jordan and Dallas Seltzer had tremendous all-around games for the Indians. Jordan had 14 kills, 11 digs and two aces while Seltzer contributed 17 digs, seven aces and two blocks. Also playing well were for Lehighton were Tia Rex (seven kills); Danielle Fake (nine digs); and Taylor Yurasits (seven digs).Hazleton posted a 25-13, 21-25, 15-13 victory in the JV match.
