A Brockton driver is facing charges, including driving under the influence (DUI) following a one-vehicle crash that occurred about 7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 26, in the 100 block of S. Reeser Street, in New Ringgold.

State police at Frackville said troopers responded to a one-vehicle crash at the time and location stated. The driver of the crashed vehicle was identified as Leann Irene Baddick, 31, and her passenger, Krystal Ann Murphy, 31, of Port Carbon. Neither were injured in the crash and both were not wearing seat belts, troopers noted.

Through the course of the investigation it was learned that the vehicle, a 2001 Ford Explorer, had been stolen from J.W. Zaprazny's property in West Penn Township. Also, Baddick was under the influence and had a blood/alcohol content of .13 percent.

Baddick was placed under arrest for DUI and theft of a vehicle and arraigned before on-call District Judge Christina Hale, of Frackville, and released on $25,000 unsecured bail.
