Shockers top Nationals

The Franklin Township Shockers rallied from an early deficit to defeat the McAdoo/Treskow Nationals in a Keystone Senior Babe Ruth League game..


After spotting McAdoo/Treskow three runs in the top of the first inning, Franklin Township roared back for a 7-3 victory.

The Shockers James Farano settled down after a rough start to blank McAdoo/Treskow over the final six frames and record the pitching win. Farano allowed six hit and struck out eight in the game.

Franklin Township was led offensively by AJ Wenrich who had two hits, two RBIs and scored a run. Kyle Troch added a hit and three RBIs; Anthony Farole had a single, two runs scored and two stolen bases; and Alex Storm scored twice and stole a base.
