Carrie Fallon, a resident at Heritage Hill Senior Community, Weatherly, recently celebrated her 93rd birthday.

She was born on June 17, 1919 in Jeddo Borough to the late Frank and Madge Smith.She had four brothers and five sisters who passed away. She has a sister, Jean Dwyer of Old Bridge, N.J.She was married to Joseph Fallon until his passing in 1980.She graduated from Hazleton High School and then had a career with Penn Mutual Insurance Company, Philadelphia until her retirement in 1974.She has two children Russell, who is deceased, and Carol Ann of Freeland.She has five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.She enjoys walking, reading, working in her garden, and working the election polls in Jeddo, having just given that up at the age of 90.
