Learning more about health and wellness

The Western Pocono Women's Club held a Safety Fair at the Chestnuthill Township Park. The free event to the public featured the Pennsylvania State Police fingerprinting and checking child's care seat installations, the West End Fire Co. and Ambulance showcased vehicles and a simulated "Smoke House" from Tobyhanna Army Depot demonstrated safe ways to escape a house fire. A representative from The Loft (bike shop) held bike inspections and safe riding tips. Refreshments were sold by Boy Scout Troop 98.
