Shockers claim division crown
The Franklin Shockers claimed the American Division regular season title in the Keystone Senior Babe Ruth League and will receive a first-round bye in the upcoming playoffs.

The Shockers exploded for five runs in the top of the ninth to end the regular season with a 7-2 extra-inning win over McAdoo/Tresckow.
AJ Wenrich tossed all nine frames for the winners, allowing just one earned run and two walks while striking out 10.
Alex Storm had two hits, knocked in a pair of runs and scored once. Vince Mele and Thatcher David each had two RBI while Parker David scored two runs.
The Shockers concluded the regular season with a 15-4 record.
For McAdoo/Tresckow, Kevin Hinkle had two hits and stole three bases while Luke Stawick knocked in both his team's runs.

Luke Stawick pitched a two-hitter, striking out nine batters, to lead McAdoo/Tresckow to an 8-1 win over Towamensing.
Zach Motil knocked in two runs for the winners, who finished the contest with nine hits.

PV Black Diamonds-Towamensing
Dave Marouchoc knocked in a pair of runs to help the Panther Valley Black Diamonds gain a 3-2 win over the Towamensing Yankees.
Zach Stanko also had a triple for the winners, who took the lead with a pair of runs in the sixth inning.
Zack King earned the pitching win in relief of starter Stanko. For Towamensing, Tyler Svetik had three hits and Mike Horvath had two.

Jarred Luchetta tossed a three-hit shutout and also belted a home run to lead McAdoo/Tresckow to a 7-0 win over the Panther Valley Black Diamonds.
Nick Kweder also went deep for the winners.
For PV, Nick McArdle had a triple.

Franklin Twp.-Tamaqua Blue
Tyler Steigerwalt, Adam Rex and Nathaniel Noftz each had two hits to lead Tamaqua Blue to a 15-3 win over Franklin Township.
Carson Barron, who had a hit, pitched the first two innings for the winners while Noftz tossed the final two frames.
Tamaqua Blue scored six runs in the first inning to gain the lead and put the contest away with a six-run third frame.
