Dear Editor:

I am writing in regard to the planned war memorial in East Penn Township. The article Gail Maholick stated that the memorial is only to honor veterans of the Korean and Vietnam wars. It is my opinion as a veteran of World War II that any memorial should be for all veterans of East Penn Township as they all sacrificed much for our country. Maybe they should get more funding if they included all veterans from all wars. The idea of a memorial is honorable.Sincerely yours,Paul D. Serfass, Lehighton
