Santa will make his annual visit to the Tamaqua Public Library during the annual Preschool Children's Christmas party, scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. on Dec. 12. All infants and toddlers are welcome.In addition to a gift from Santa, children will sing seasonal songs, make crafts and hear stories from the librarian.Also at the library this month, guest speaker Sue Paul will present a discussion on the secret codes and messages found in quilts used to help slaves find their way to freedom. The program will begin at 6 p.m. on Dec. 8.
