Carbon County Environmental Education Center will be hosting "Sensational Snow" on Saturday, Dec. 10, at 10 a.m.

Even if the weather doesn't cooperate, naturalist Jeannie Carl can make it snow inside.The program involves a little bit of science and a lot of fun.Participants will also get to experience a special "snow treat" and make a craft to take home.The center is located at the west end of Mauch Chunk Lake Park, just outside of Jim Thorpe, along Lentz Train.Call (570) 645-8597 for more information or to register for the program.
