Lauren Schock, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Schock of Tamaqua, was the recipient of a new Schwinn bicycle from her efforts in art work submitted to Kellogg Company of Battle Creek, Mich. The Kellogg Company sponsored a national contest "Stick Up For Your Breakfast." A kindergarten student at the North Ward School, Lauren had to draw a post of her favorite Kellogg's character eating a full-course breakfast. She chose the Rice Krispies kids "Snap, Crackle, and Pop" and won the grand prize.
